Mihaela (or Miha for short) started playing tennis at age 6. Already nationally ranked in romanian U12's, she moved to Italy to train at the Vavassori Tennis Academy, where she also competed, as well as competing in France. After Injury put a hult to her training, she was able get back into it while at high school in America, and achieved a university scholarship to Tiffin University, Ohio, and later onto Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated with a BSc Accounting. In 2011 Upon graduating, Miha moved to Scotland to join her family, and started coaching tennis, she gained valuable experience in Western LTC and quickly passed her first 3 coaching qualifications. Miha believes Tennis has given her so many opportunities in life that she would never have accomplished without it, she is looking forward to joining GPT programme, and can't wait to contribute to Scotlands next superstars.
Talent Performance Coordinator
Qualification: CCA (LTA Level 4)
Having been a former Scottish National Junior player at U14 level competing in Tri-Nations, Callum then pursued an academic path gaining a BSc Degree in Sport & Exercise Science at Strathclyde University in 2001. It was after assisting in the Junior tennis programme at Milngavie LTC that he discovered his passion for coaching tennis. Callum became Head Coach at Thorn Park from 2002-05, attaining Mini & Performance Club status. During his time there he was a West of Scotland County Coach, captained West of Scotland County teams, and captained the winning West of Scotland U12’s Inter-District team. Between 2005-06 whilst taking a year out travelling in south-east Asia he worked in Melbourne Parks’ Australian Open Academy for 5 months working with John McCurdy, previous AIS Head Coach, as well as respected strength and conditioning coaches in the academy programme. On returning home he worked at Whitecraigs Tennis Club (2006-11) as Assistant & Mini Performance Coach, where he established a very successful Mini Tennis programme for U10s. Callum was awarded LTA AEGON Coach of the Month in February 2010.

Callum has recently been appointed Tennis Scotland's Talent and Performance Co-ordinator (TPC) for the west region.

Billy is the program manager of the GPT Program.
As a junior Billy played in the National Squad from the age of 8-18, where he trained alongside Andy Murray. During this period Billy won numerous Scottish titles in singles and doubles, including the 18 under Scottish Junior Championships. Billy has also represented the East of Scotland team at both junior and senior level. At the age of 17 he was selected for the International Sports Scholarship Programme at The University of Stirling where he combined high performance tennis with full-time education.
Billy graduated from university with an Honours Degree in Sports Studies (including Sports Psychology, Physiology, Sports Business and Management). Upon graduating Billy began his coaching career as a Tennis Pro at David Lloyd, Edinburgh and shortly after also became Club Coach at Aberdour, Fife. Billy has developed the coaching programme at Aberdour from 30 children to over 130 children, helping the club win the East of Scotland Club of the Year Award, division 1 junior leagues and gain Club Mark status.
Billy is delighted to be joining the GPT team and looks forward to working hard both on and off court helping the players be the best they can be!
